¡felicidades! a mí

Funny, I think I just realized that I never updated my blog with an important announcement. I’m sure you’ve noticed, but there are a few things going on right now in the world and celebrating anything feels odd. The state of just about everything seems uncertain, but I decided to continue on my path – stupid or not – and make the leap. My last day at work was April 10th, so I am officially RETIRED!

I’m celebrating my 46th birthday today. Not exactly how I’d expected it (wandering around Oaxaca City, exploring the markets and drinking mezcal), but it has been a great couple days filled with video calls with people I love and miss terribly. I feel so fortunate to be where I am, with a partner that I love more than anything and who loves me, and the privilege to stay isolated and still be able to put food on my table.

Enough of the sappy crap. I’m just dropping this here and wishing you all safety and sanity. That is all! <3

Happy birthday, beautiful!!! Selfie game on point, and so glad to hear that despite all the madness it’s been a birthday with a loving partner, the start of your job free life, and connecting with loved ones. <3

Soooooo great catching up with you Suga! Congratulations on stepping away from the business world and hope that birthday was memorable in more ways than one. We should all pause to appreciate the goodness in our lives these days and sounds like you’re doing just that.

    Big hugs from Oregon,

    Teresa

I’m sure I win the award for most belated birthday wishes! Hope all is well and you’re enjoying your job-free life [I’m still jealous!].
